Acrylic paintings
Despite some clear changes over the years, certain features have appeared over and over again. A traditional acrylic painting technique is used to create – usually on canvas – constructive structures. These structures are suspended in a nebulous-glimmering atmosphere. These shapes are confronted at the center of the painting by curving and sharply angled figures. The various forms interconnect and overlap, accentuating the contrasts in the spatially imposing world of images. The dominant theme however is the rhythmical circling and spiraling of the vibrantly colored shapes leading the eye inexorably into the heart of each painting.
